We planned on a family road trip to Thailand for Christmas. And since we were going to pass by Hatyai, thought of gathering my friends for a little "reunion." Now if you know us, our definition of reunion is gathering together for a photoshoot then a nice Thai dinner. LOL.
And so we thought of "Elegance" as our photography theme this time. So I asked them to bring their LBDs and something white. Honestly, it just amused me coz when I said LBD, I meant long black dress. My fiends' definition of LBD was little black dress. LOL. peace, friends. Anyways... it turned out really well.
We had a blast! Right friends? Hehehe. Oh well, I knew I did.
Here's the group photo, shot in raw, lightroom processed.
Below images are the individual shots. My mentor (I'd like to call him Jayk here), helped me with the post processing coz I shot everything in raw and post processing them is still a challenge to me, knowing my limitations with my digital photo editing platform.

I was aiming for an uncluttered background. And so I got these shots.
Lesson learned from this shoot (as learned from my photographer friend Jayk) is the value of shutter speed.
I was aiming to shoot using the natural light coming from the window. And so, there was low light on the set. My setting was set to ISO 1000 and aperture value of f/1.4. I couldn't have done any better because of the poor lighting.
Anyways, I take this shoot as a learning process. I have learned and I know I will keep on learning.
All in all, I was happy with the shoot. My girl friends were all ready and so game to get elegant shots. Our laughter during and in between poses still rings in my ear.
I wonder when we can photoshoot again.

I was welcomed with the upgrate to a suite what was a really great room. All was clean and proper. Very fast check in. I am just surprised that such a good place and such a good guides they have,I highly suggest all tours and transfers by www.privatetoursinistanbul.com We visited here to celebrate my sons 8th Birthday, and I would usually not do this sort of thing because I am a little scared of heights, but wow, what fun!! The staff were great and very careful about safety. I was assured that I would not break the zip line, and it could hold a lot of weight and it certainly looked sturdy. At some points the zipline went about 30 meters and was incredibly high, you couldn't help but scream. I highly recommend this adventure, it's fun and in a beautiful area, and the staff are friendly and reassuring.
